Justice for Arkansans Legal Fellow

Eight (8) Positions.

The Justice for Arkansans program will have 8 AmeriCorps members providing direct legal services across Arkansas. Members will develop and conduct legal education and outreach; screen applicants for services; provide legal information and referrals; provide legal advice and representation; and recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers. Four members will focus on Economic Opportunity, assuring access to safe and affordable housing (2) [Jonesboro, Fort Smith] and employment opportunity (2) [West Memphis, Pine Bluff]. Two members will focus on providing services to Veterans and Military families in Little Rock or Springdale. Two members will focus on Healthy Futures, primarily through Medical-Legal Partnerships at Hot Springs or Newport.
