Spring Break on the Road to Justice

Justice Projects

Law students join Legal Aid of Arkansas for our Spring Break on the Road to Justice project every year. Since 2011, we have hosted law students from the two Arkansas law schools. The students come together and provide intensive services to low-income Arkansans in remote and impoverished parts of the state. This project often exposes law students to public interest work and pro bono for the first time. In 2018, students spent three days in the West Memphis office learning about and conducting Fair Housing Testing in the Delta. Their work supported our mission of advancing fair housing in Arkansas.
