Chris McFarlin, J.D.
Chris McFarlin is a Staff Attorney with us at Legal Aid of Arkansas. Chris is originally from Northeast Arkansas and currently works in our Jonesboro office assigned to the Domestic Justice workgroup. He has been an attorney since 2009, and he has worked at Legal Aid for the last 5 months. Prior to joining, he had a private practice in Conway, focusing largely on Family Law matters. In conjunction with being an attorney, Chris served over 18 years in Law Enforcement, holding the ranks of Sargeant and Lieutenant. He has traveled the country training Law Enforcement Officers for all levels of government. He is a Nationally recognized International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) Instructor for Law Enforcement and a graduate of the FBI Carolina Command College. He was a recipient of the FBI Trilogy Award and served as a Master Instructor with Axon Inc. Lastly, he is a Nationally Certified Advanced Force Specialist through the Force Science Institute in Chicago, IL.
