Sandra has QMB which pays her Medicare Premium.  Her Medicare Advantage Plan is with United Health Care and she receives a U-card which allows her $188 a month to be spent on food or utilities.  She states that she takes numerous medications and has had a couple of surgeries.  She would not be able to pay for her medications or surgeries if she did not have QMB.  She says that she is just thankful that she does not have to pay for her medicine, doctors visits and for the surgeries that she had to have.
