Steve Davis

Steve Davis graduated with High Honors from the School of Law in Fayetteville in 1982, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Arkansas Law Review. He has practiced law in the same building in Harrison since June 1, 1982. He was twice appointed to serve as Special Associate Justice on the Arkansas Supreme Court, and is a Sustaining Member of the Arkansas Bar Foundation. In addition to Legal Aid of Arkansas, Steve serves on the boards of several local charities, and has volunteered substantial time over his career in pro bono service to indigent clients. In 2020, the Arkansas Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Foundation granted him the Equal Justice Distinguished Service Award.
No one has ever challenged Steve's claim to be the only State Supreme Court Justice ever to win a National motorcycle road race, which he last did at age 61.
