Tax attorneys from across the country gathered in Washington, DC, at the ABA Tax Section meeting this past week to discuss emerging tax issues.  IRS Commissioner Rettig (pictured here on the left) discussed the role of LITCs and urged practitioners to volunteer to help low income taxpayers.  Many LITCers, including Legal Aid of Arkansas's Jennifer Gardiner, were on hand to discuss the state of the IRS and tax law with the commissioner.
