Edith received her Juris Doctorate from the William H. Bowen School of Law, where she presided over the Hispanic Law Students Association. Before attending law school, she attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she graduated with high honors.

Her passion for service has made her deserving of awards such as Bowen's Dean Certificate for Public Service and the Alumni of the Year Award for Public Service by the Latin American Law Students Association. She currently serves as the American Immigration Lawyers Association Citizenship Day Liaison and is an active member of the Benton County Bar Association and Arkansas Bar Association.

Edith’s desire to pursue law stems from her grandfather’s influence as an attorney and activist in Nicaragua.

Edith grew up in Cancun, Mexico. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering.
