During law school, Whitney served as a member on the Board of Advocates, participated in the W.B. Putman Inn of Courts, and competed in the Traveling Trial Competition. She won first place in the Closing Argument Competition and received "Best Oralist" for her appellate brief argument. As a clerk for The Honorable Judge John Scott in Benton County, Arkansas, Whitney gained experience in civil litigation and domestic relations. She developed a passion of advocating for clients and gained insight into the value of providing justice to all persons independent of the charges they face.

Whitney is a certified mediator and attorney ad litem. Her case experience includes divorce, child custody disputes, insurance claims, criminal defense, breach of contract, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and personal injury.
