Precious Ford lives in Federally Subsidized Housing in Brinkley, AR - a small Arkansas Delta town with a population of 2,742 located off Interstate 40. She is 21 and is the Caretaker of her disabled 49-year-old mother who had experienced an interruption in her Medicaid benefits. 

Princella Snow is happy to no longer live near standing water. Standing water breeds mosquitoes and allows the mosquitoes to spread infection.

Richard defies the myth that people on Medicaid in Arkansas do not work.

As a child, Richard was diagnosed with Poliomyelitis (Polio). Polio is a highly infectious disease that destroys nerves in the spinal cord.

Rose is 49 years old and lives in Monroe County Arkansas. 27% percent of people living in Monroe County are in poor or fair health.

Sabrena isn’t your typical, run-of-the-mill mother. She has a teen-aged son, Gabriel, who has been diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.

Sandra has QMB which pays her Medicare Premium. 

Sandra Jackson is a sixty-three-year-old former CNA. Due to budget cuts, her job as a CNA with the company ended shortly after the COVID-19 Pandemic started.

She was in her late teens (and had just started college) when it all started. Everybody told her oxycodone was fun and a safe way to get high. Pharmaceutical companies were saying it was non-addictive (which was an added bonus).
